The aromas of Chateau Beychevelle 2014 are distinctly fruity, leaning towards the red side of the fruit spectrum: cranberry and wild strawberry, almost in the style of the Right Bank. The palate is ripe and fleshy, with tension in the tannins. I appreciate the newfound harmony, its precision, its long finish, and its good saltiness.
