Château Giscours, located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, was classified as a Third Growth in 1855. Its history dates back to 1330, with documented records of the noble estate "Guyscoutz." For centuries, visionary owners have continuously expanded the vineyards, establishing the estate's exceptional status, a tradition now continued by the Albada Jelgersma family.
The estate believes that fine wines originate from the harmony between the land, the vines, the rhythms of nature, and the people. Upholding this spirit, the estate is committed to sustainable cultivation, with half of its vineyards currently managed organically, minimizing human intervention and respecting the terroir.
The estate has received numerous international accolades, and its outstanding wines are renowned for their vibrant aromas, refined tannins, and exceptional aging potential.
The 2012 vintage is a wine that offers an aromatic brilliance and beautiful freshness. Red fruits notes bring gourmandise with a nice touch of liquorice. This wine has a nice finish, brought by the Cabernets Sauvignons.
