The 2017 Domaine des Comtes Lafon Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots-du-Milieu is a sumptuous and structured Pinot Noir from Burgundy. It offers superb power, aromas of red and black fruit, and great aging potential.

Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Nose: Intense and deep, it reveals aromas of ripe cherry, red berries, rose petals, all underlined by spicy and mineral touches (sometimes saline or iodine).

Palate: Dense and fleshy, with silky, integrated tannins. The wine offers lovely juicy acidity, a powerful structure (almost in the style of Pommard) and a long, vibrant finish.
