The 2013 vintage is a deep purple, with an alluring aroma of black cherry liqueur, mulberry, licorice, graphite, and spring blossoms. The wine is surprisingly full-bodied and round, with sweet, juicy tannins, a rich texture, and a stunning finish. Even in good vintages, it is an outstanding wine, but its achievement in 2013 is particularly impressive. It is best enjoyed within the next 10-15 years.
