Lambay Single Malt Irish Whisky is an award-winning, non-chill filtered whiskey born from a unique collaboration between House Camus (France) and the Baring family of Lambay Island, Ireland. It uniquely marries Irish distilling tradition with French cognac maturation.
Produced from 100% malted barley using the pot-still distillation method, our Single Malt distillate is rich and complex and needs more time in our Cognac casks for all the taste molecules to combine and become well balanced in the finish.
ABV: 43% (or 56.5% for the Single Cask Strength release).
Color: Rich mahogany brown.
Nose: Malt, floral notes, ripe banana, and hints of fig.
Palate: Coconut, dark fruit leather, malt, toffee, and a delicate island salinity.
Finish: Lingering sweetness, balanced with soft oak and a peppery or spicy maritime edge.
