The Wonder Plant: The gin's namesake, the Spekboom (Igwanitsha in Xhosa), is an edible shrub native to the Eastern Cape renowned for its high Vitamin C content and incredible ability to sequester carbon dioxide.
Distillation Process: Crafted in small batches using winter wheat spirit, the fresh botanicals undergo modern vapor infusion in a "carter head" to preserve a crisp, delicate, and fresh flavor.
Tasting Notes: Expect a piny, juniper-forward backbone coupled with bright lemon zest, an earthy/spiced base, and subtle floral top notes.
Classic G&T: Mix 1 part gin to 4 parts premium Indian tonic over ice.
